Magallanes : Tropical Fish source since the olden days
Ever since I was a kid Magallanes has been synonymous to Tropical Fish. They have really low prices, good variety but fish are really stressed out because of over stocking conditions.
They have a lot of affordable fish food like flakes, pellets, worms and feeder fish.
They also have some aquatic plants but I have seen only three varieties for submerged and 1 for floating.

ReplyDeletethe conditions these fish are kept in are the worst i have seen.. most of malawi cichlids are coloured up on hormones.. juvenile malawi aren't supposed to show rich colours that early. One vendor acctually adds blue food colouring to his tanks but its not obvious because you figure the glass is tinted blue. A lot of hybrids... best avoid the whole street.
